Wave flumes
TRL+ offers a set of wave flumes for reduced scale experimental testing of offshore and coastal structures and operations under waves, currents and wind action.
The COCOTsu (Wave-Current-Tsunami Flume) has been designed to test the performance of medium and large scale coastal protection structures, floating structures, wave-current interaction and wave-structure interaction among others. It is 56 meters long and 2 meters wide, with a variable height between 1.8 and 2.5 meters.
The COC (Wave-Current Flume) is destined to small and medium scale tests. It is 24 meters long, 0.6 meters wide and 0.75 meters high.
